/last week , we looked at how the Chinese people track time and celebrated the beginning of the New Year “ year of the TIGER “ with these various crafts :

February half-term camp!
/We will be holding a five-days camp during February Half-term break !
We will be on from Monday to Friday (14th - 18th of Feb. ) from 9am-3pm in the Russel Room at
St. George's Catholic Church- Wembley
Please send in your children with a packed lunch and a labeled water bottle .
We will serve a morning fruit snack and an afternoon small snack
A day @fundrawp club camp will typically be as following :
9-10am Welcome and various games ( puzzles , board games , …etc
10am Morning snack
10.30-12pm Group Arts and crafts project
12pm. Lunch
12.30 -1.30. Active group games +/or dancing +singing
1.30 -2.30. More Arts and crafts !The children will be offered a variety of activities that they can choose from ( drawing , painting , playing with play dough …etc)
2.30-3pm Afternoon snack- reflection + reading time

As we were preparing to say “Goodbye” to 2021, and get ready for the Christmas holiday ahead , we celebrated our end of term with such cheerful spirits 😊
We decorated our Christmas crafts 🖼 👼 with a lot of enthusiasm 🤩
We got really competitive, laughed loud & had been silly as we played our favourite Christmas games 🤣
We sang wonderfully our sacred Christmas carols 🎤 🎶
It is indeed the most wondrous , blissful and marvellous time of the year 🎄🎄🎄
The Rain Cloud Experiment 🧪🧫
/When the ☁️ get full of 💦 that they can't hold anymore, the water falls down as rain 🌧 . In this experiment, the clouds are the shaving cream and the food colored water is the rain. As you drop the colored water into the cloud the weight of the water forces itself through the cloud to “rain” down into the cup.

The children really enjoyed their time as they watched their friends @school doing some new & clever tricks on them 😌
It was so good that they were so close to get convinced that it was real Magic 😀
Not only that but also we had the most challenging competition to make the most paper pumpkins in just 15 mins ! The announced winner would get their hands on the Halloween sweets FIRST 🤩

SPACE !!!!
/The children @Fundrawp Club have been learning about Space. They have designed their own space rockets and produced wonderful imaginative space pictures using different shades of paint.we have explored how to make different effects and build layers of paint using a variety of tools 🧰 🎨 🖌
They have also been learning the names of the planets and were able to make colourful collages to represent them. They have had great fun creating their own aliens !!
